Newsletter 16 Reported on the sell-out Roadshows at Trinity Academy and Carronvale House. At both events, over 150 delegates and participants celebrated and scrutinised schools' commitment to pupil involvement in decision-making. Reported on feedback from participants in the Roadshows. Highlighted some of the examples presented at the Roadshows under the headings 'involving and developing young adults in and out of school', 'partnerships to promote involvement' and 'active pupil councils'. Published a short article on 'challenges in pupil participation' written by Don McAllister, headteacher of Kininver Primary near Oban Outlined a research project at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital on 'The recognition of adolescent depression in Scottish schools'.
